Collaborative Psychoeducational Assessments: Teachers of the Visually Impaired and Evaluators Working Together
Children with visual impairments are often referred for psychoeducational evaluations with varying degrees of collaboration and participation from teachers of the visually impaired (TVI). Psychologists, speech language pathologists, and other evaluators may have little to no experience with children with visual impairments, let alone knowledge of how a TVI may be helpful in conducting assessments. This webinar seeks to demystify the role a TVI plays as well as provide psychologists and other examiners with important considerations when conducting these evaluations.
